Following the collapse of the Old Republic, Din Djarin was raised by a group of Mandalorians who survived the purge of their homeworld. His life changes irrevocably when he is assigned a target that turns out to be a youngling resembling Yoda. Instead of delivering the child, he chooses to protect it, defying Imperial authority and bounty hunter guilds alike. This decision leads him into conflict with Moff Gideon, an Imperial warlord seeking to exploit the child's abilities for cloning purposes. Din eventually joins forces with other Mandalorians, including Bo-Katan Kryze, to retake their heritage and secure a future for his people. His actions contribute significantly to the stability of the New Republic by neutralizing dangerous threats lingering from the Empire's fall.
